UNI I.D.S. is an ink drying stimulator, which improves the surface drying of lithographic inks when added to mixed fountain solutions. UNI I.D.S. speeds up the production schedules, particularly on many non-porous stocks. It reduces smearing and set-off.

Manual
Add ½ to 1 oz of UNI I.D.S. to each diluted gallon of fountain solution. UNI I.D.S. has no effect on the pH in the fountain solution tank but increases the conductivity by 600 microsiemens for each ounce of UNI I.D.S.
